Wall Lining Installation
Floor Installation
• Fix 25 x 38mm horizontal Tanalised timber battens to the
wall and around openings every 500mm centres.
• Starting from a corner, staple the General Purpose Wrap.
• Horizontally unroll the Wrap against the battens and staple,
ensuring the roll is pulled tight.
• The next run of General Purpose Wrap is butted against
the top edge, unrolled as before, stapled and foil taped with ThermaWrap Foil Tape.
• Use a craft knife to cut the General Purpose Wrap
as/where necessary.
• Ensure all joints are foil taped before applying the vertical
25 x 38mm counter battens, these are fixed at 400mm
or 600mm centres.
• Fix plasterboard as manufacturers instructions.

• General Purpose Wrap is rolled out
over the floor joists.
• Staple gun the General Purpose Wrap
roll to a 50mm joist depth.
• Horizontal joints are overlapped by
100mm and left open.
• General Purpose Wrap must be
brought up behind the skirting board
by 75mm.

JOIST END FITTING
Make 2 x 75-100mm cuts in the Wrap - same width as joist. Then make one further cut, same width again, on each side. Fold up flap(A), fold back flaps(B) and pull the Wrap(C) up to meet wall. Fix to wall and fit skirting board over, concealing the Wrap.

CELLAR FIXING
Simply staple to the underside of joists and overlap by 100mm.
